Field Lane Football Club

Charter Standard

In 2007 Field Lane Football Club was awarded Charter Standard Status, We have worked very hard to achieve this award. The Charter Standard Award recognises how the well the club is organised and managed. We have put in place a number of new policies, that insure the protection and well being of children within the club. All Club managers have under gone FA Level 1 coaching, First Aid and Child Protection and CRB checks.

In December 2009 we was awarded Charter Standard Development Club Status, this is a great Achievement for the club. We have now started to work towards Community Club Award, To achieve this we have to introduce Girls football into field lane football club.

The Charter Standard Scheme sets standards for coaching, administration and child protection for all clubs outside the Premier League and Football League. As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all. Click here for more information.

The FA Charter Standard Scheme is a national initiative that recognises football clubs for their best practice, provision and delivery of grassroots football. It looks at the administration of Clubs and the qualification of their coaches. It also promotes links with local schools and as you work through the awards looks at the development of more teams and girls sections and development plans detailing Clubs aspirations and sustainability for the future.
